Проектот преку оваа работилница има цел за цел да востанови координативно седиште за промоција на новите облици на уметничка продукција и комуникација меѓу младите од Балканот, да создаде мрежа на соработници за соработка на подолг рок, како симболичен чин на културна ре-интеграција на Балканот, да ги сензибилизира младите од балканскиот ареал за нови европски културни интеграции (TransBalkanika), да ја афирмира идејата дека денес фрагментираните балкански култури некогаш припаѓале на големи културни системи (балкански, медитерански, европски), да ги афирмира малите и древни (индогини) јазици од Балканот преку книжевни преводи (меѓусебни на големите европски јази

ци), пласирани во електронски формат на страниците на меѓународната мултијазична колекција „Разноликост“, да ги едуцира младите за креативно изразување и практикување на есејот и на говорништвото (креативно пишување и говорење); да го поттикне позитивниот имиџ на Балканот („колепка на цивилизацијата“), со цел младите да се ослободат од негативниот стереотип на Балканот како “буре барут”). Со тоа ќе се создаде идејна рамка за НОВИОТ ЕВРОПСКИ КОДЕКС НА БАЛКАНОТ. Целта на овие креативни практики (работилници) е да се стимулира креативниот дух кај младите, облиците на социјализирање преку интеркултурен дијалог и работа на заеднички проекти, развивање на свеста за заедничките места на интерес на луѓето и народите од Балканот.

На работилницата учество ќе земат млади писатели, есеисти и уметници од различни балкански земји (Македонија, Србија, Турција, Словенија, Хрватска) и реномирани гости со големо искуство на полето на креативното пишување и изразување.

Проектот преку оваа работилница има експлицитни и имплицитни интенции: преку промоција на новите и неконвенционални облици на уметничка продукција на младите од балканскиот регион во мултијазичен формат (есеј, мали наративи) тој ќе ја афирмира културната политика на новата преродба/ренесанса на Балканот. Есеите на учесниците ќе бидат објавени во електронски формат на страниците на „Разноликост”.

It brings us great pleasure & honor to inform you that in Skopje, in Hotel Continental on 20th May (starting in 11 o’clock) a workshop for essay will take place, on the topic “New Images – New Balkans”, organized by Diversity (Electronic Collection of Poetry, Fiction & Essay of the International PEN) & the “Freidrich Ebert Stiftung”.

The workshop is part of the activities of the project “The new image of the Balkans” which has regional character. One of the main ideas & goals of this project was to connects the young people from the real (fragmented) Balkan & creates appeal of an imaginary, but possible, Europeanized, culturally integrated & reborn (Neo-Renaissanse) Balkan. The Project, by the refferent experience of this workshop, has a goal to establish a coordination office for promotion of the new forms of art production & communication between the young people from the Balkan; to create a network of associates to cooperate in long terms, like a symbolic act of cultural re-integration of the Balkans; to sensibilize the youth from the Balkan area for new European cultural integrations (TransBalkanika); to affirmate the idea that today the fragmented Balkan cultures once belonged to a large cultural systems (Balkan, Mediterranean, European); to affirm languages with low usage frequency, ancient (indigenous) languages from the Balkans through literary translations (interrelationships between major European languages), distributed online at the web portal of the multilingual collection Diversity; to educate the youth in the field of creative speaking & writing practices (writing essays & oratory); to encourage the positive image of the Balkans (as a “cradle of civilization”), in order to surpass the frustrations of the negative stereotype of the Balkans (revision of the negative stereotype of the “powder-keg” ). By doing so, we will be able to create a future frame for the NEW EUROPEAN CODEX OF THE BALKANS. The goal of these practices is to stimulate the creative spirit amongst the young people, the forms of socialization through intercultural dialogue and working on common projects, advancing the thought of common places of interest amongst the people of the Balkans.

The workshop will welcome young writers, essayists & artists from different Balkan countries (Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia) and guests of repute with great experience in the field of creative writing & speaking.

This project has an implicit and explicit intentions: through promotion of the new and unconventional forms of art produced by the youth from the Balkan region in multilingual format (essay, short narratives, oratory, photography, creative speaking and writing, intermedial performances), the project will affirm the cultural politics of the new renewal/Renaissance of the Balkans. The essays of the participants will be published in electronic format on Diversity.
